“The children liked Gran and Gran liked the children.”

One day, Gran came to the children’s house and everyone became happy by seeing her. The children wanted to play with her inside. Actually, she played and made a lot of mistakes during playing so they went outside. They arrived the fun park and the children started playing on the Jumping Castle. Then, Gran started jumping too. However, she made a hole in the castle by her stick so they had to go home. Gran became sad but she found the magic key which took them to a new adventure.

 

I like the phrase I wrote at the top of this page and I could see the children’s love for Gran and Gran’ s love for the children in this book. Moreover, I like Gran because she played and enjoyed like a child so I want to be an old woman like Gran. I think her life is pretty happy.

 “Slow down,” shouted Biff. “No. This is fun,” said Gran.   Gran bought a fast car but everyone around her was worried about her. After that, Gran and children went to a small world. Gran joined a car race but it was very dangerous because a bad guy disturbed her race. Finally, Gran won this race but she learned a fast car was really dangerous so she took the fast car back. For instead, she bought a little car.   I was surprised that Gran was very powerful and dangerous. It’s Not Fair

 “Girls are as good as boys.”   Biff went to King Arthur’s castle which was a world in the book Biff’s teacher read her. In the castle, Biff wanted to be a knight but she couldn’t be it because she was a girl. She did her best to be a knight. For example, she showed her skateboard skill for other knights and made a round table for knights. But they didn’t allow her to be a knight because of her sex. She was but angry and keep angry, she went back to the real world.   Now, the gap between boys and girls is a big problem not only Japan but also the world. So, Biff’s thought “Girls are as good as boys.” is really important current world and I can understand her thought. I want all people to think about this gap and have the question about this gap.

Snow-white

I read “Snow-white” which written by The Brothers Grimm. There are mainly two women and seven little men in this story. The queen thought she was the most beautiful in the world and she couldn’t admit that anyone else was more beautiful than her. But the most beautiful is Snow-white. So, the queen tried to kill Snow-white many times however, seven little men protected her. Finally, Snow-white ate the poisoned apple and she died once. But actually, she became alive because of the prince. Therefore, Snow-white started to a new happy life with the prince and the queen really died. When I read this story, I always feel the queen’s jealousy of Snow-white and the seven little men’s kindness. But I sometime think that the queen is actually a lonely person.
